The book that we are reading is called On Board The Boussole,in this story the parts that are likes to me are that Alain is a true friend,life saver,and a hero in Juliennes eyes.Alain is a life saver becuase he rescued Julienne from the barrel and saved her life ,he caught her when she slipped off the yardann and Alain taught her how to swim.

I feel very happy for Jessica since she gets a job.

Jessica went to a dump and there was a rusty chair. On top of the chair was an old cushion.

She accidentally ripped the cushion and money came out of it.

About ten thousand dollars came out. Straight away, Jessica tells the police. The police said if now one takes the money Jessica could keep it all!

After that Jessica goes home and tells her dad. Her dad says that is great.

This book is full of imagination and draws people's attention.

I like the part when Jessica gets a job.

Jessica went to a dump and founds and found a chair . On top is a pillow and she accidentally tears the appliance and ten thousand dollars come out. Then she takes it straight away to the police and say you can keep the money in three weeks.

Jessica's life has her ups and downs. When she finds her aunt Hermione comes to her house she finds out she swears, that's really shocking for her because she has never heard her swear before. Her aunt sounds really mean just by reading the book. Guess what?? Cathrine(bad girl) finally got a job half way across the city. The sad thing is Jessica feels sorry for her dad. Well I'm happy she is gone she was getting on my nerves. I'm pretty sure that the money is consuming her like Golum (from lord of the rings) with his crazy ring to rule them all. The reason I mentioned that her little sister don't like that money at all because Jessica is all so greedy.

I like this book because it gives us great information on history and is a rally adventurous book. I like these kind of books because they are very engaging book and is very educational.

I like that Sophia's relative or aunty said to Sophia 'Don't read gossip Sophia, it rots your mind.' I also like that she FINALLY finds out what a coconut is, but it is still pretty bad.

I don't like that she dosen't know what a coconut is, but she knows what the Olympics is when it is REALLY hard to get into the Olympics but she still knows what that is. But with a coconut she doesen't know what it is but on their island there is probably  heaps of them and it's so easy to find. So to me I really don't like it.

the book gets really boring at some points so it is really hard to get different likes, dislikes and puzzles.
I think that the book is really boring
but the 1st few chapters were quite interesting but then again the book is boring now

I am very puzzled because Millie and Nash accidentally hijacked a ship an they flew to Saratoga and Saratoga is a very strong guy. When the monster was struggling to fight the more stuck it became.Then mini monsters came out.

I like the part where Millie went in Saratoga's ship because it is funny by the fact Saratoga is a strong guy and his security was TOTALLY slack and even Nash got in, and when someone is angry and going really fast up a spaceship, your bound to be spotted. I dislike the part when Nash, Millie and the king of Kalguri spoke in a language I couldn't understand, that's the part that puzzled me.

i am reading a fictional book that i recommend is suitable for kids from 8 to 11. This is my opinion on this book and some questions that i am going to talk about. If you have a answer to any of my questions please tell me in the comments below.

LIKES:

I like how Millie is a free spirit. I mean, she doesn't listen to people about when they tell her how to live her life, she lives in the moment not thinking what might happen next. This is why I love her so much.

DISLIKES:

I hate it how Nash always gets her way. I mean, she is NOT a queen and does NOT deserve to boss people around such as Millie. I really hate her and she is not nice

QUESTIONS:

I wonder if Millie still loves Nash? I wonder if Millie and Nash ever find their parents? I wonder what happens to them after they get caught stealing a ship?

I wonder why all the Kalgurians are happy when someone's about to lose their life, like Millie. In my opinion they are selfish, careless, mean and stubborn because what if they lose their life and all the humans are happy I wish that would happen to all of them because then they would learn a lesson not to be happy when anything is about to lose their life or maybe like themselves, surely they wouldn't be happy when they are at risk of loosing their lives, or their families lives, or their friends lives. Also, I want to know why the author can't make the Kalgurians speak english. I know they are aliens but the book is not real and the readers will not understand what they are speaking about especially when they sing and dance and all that I do not know what they are saying and so do any of the other readers who buy the book.

And then it frightens Madison and it says that after she got scared she felt like someone behind her and started digging into her ribs.another part I liked in the story is when,after Jessica's aunty had her tea she deliverd delicious and scrumptious strawberries at Jessica's house and another thing she did was that she made strawberry layer cake from scratch so she could take it to the city because it was a special occasion.

Dislikes

I didn't like the part when Jessica says she is so nervous because she had public speaking at school and so she couldn't eat a her contemplate breakfast and she was keep on complaining about her uniform like it was ghastly and it was too long. Another thing she said about her uniform is that it is horribly itchy. She hates her uniform so much.

I am very confused of how they changed Pierre name to pére  I just get only if it is of course Pierre why they would get mixed up with the words.What I am trying to say is they should've checked their work before they published because that's what I would do so I think the book needs a little bit more work to get people to understand it more easily.

Don't you like that more people are coming into the story than just a few. I like that because if there is just four normal people in the story I would not have that interested in the book.What I also like about the book is that it gets way more interesting.

I do not like the boy beast by the name and that is all I can think of so far thank you.

I liked it when Julienne said that all her cherished memories washed away by the water. All of my memories, washed away with my diary into the sea. I liked this because it showed how much Julienne cared for her diary and what she did. This showed Julienne's real feelings and what kind of a person Julienne is. I don't know why I like people who are like this really.

Number 2:

I enjoyed it when Julienne described how she dreamed of biting into a crisp juicy apple so well. She had so much detail in describing of how she dreamed of eating an apple. I like to write detailed pieces of writing so obviously I enjoyed this part of the story a lot. Also she made the apple sound so lovely and  it could have made your mouth water.

Dislikes: Number 1:

I disliked it when Petit Peirrie found Julienne writing in her diary and sneaked up to her and snatched her journal off her. He then ran out of the cabin, onto the deck and threw her journal overboard. This was absolutely horrible in my opinion. Who would actually do that. I hated this part because I don't do this and if this happened to someone I knew I wouid be so angry and feel so sorry for that person.

I feel so sorry for Julienne how she was having a hard time.

My sister has ripped me off before when I bought a packet of jumpys off her for a dollar, and when I opened it there was only 1 jumpy in it, the rest was all tissues. The only reason I got it was because I thought it had a lot of jumpys but it was all just tissues and the really sad thing was I couldn't get a refund.  #sosad
I discovered that I was ripped off like when Julienne got ripped off by getting received fake money.

Whats the point fighting its not like its going to solve anything.

I wonder when Juliennes secret will become uncovered and who will uncover it, because Julienne thinks "This time dear Journal, I flushed with embarrassment. Alain must know that the time draws close when I shall no longer be able conceal that I am a girl".

Well this book is making me sick. Jessica's dad has a new girlfriend after her wife died. The girlfriend is 5000 years younger then him. But the bit that was the worst was they were kissing & hugging as his wife did!!!
But at school it seems like she enjoys it with Madison and Jeremy when they shoot some hops. Jessica's little sister thinks the girlfriend is quite nice and that's just first impressions.The book seems quite interesting. I think she is going to use the money because when she is going to sleep she thinks about what is she going to do with all the money she has.

I liked how the English have agreed to deliver the Admirals journals and dispatches to the French Ambassador in London on their first departing ship because i think it is about time they stop fighting and bring peace to the cities of France.

Dislikes:

I don't like how Captain Clonard returned from Port Jackson he reported to Admiral Laperose because together they are evil and they always make Julienne stand by and wait for hours for just one order.

The interesting parts of the book are how Alain hasn't spread Juliennes secret and it remains a secret .Alain saves Julienne from fears ,death and has taught her how to swim.Alain has made a true friendship with Julienne .Another like about the story is that my birthday the 3rd of March and Jess's birthday the 23rd of February is in the book.On Board The Boussole is a french journal of a young girl Julienne Fulbert.

i dont like that it is a very dangerous race because some people get really bad frost bite and people get killed by other people in the race

what puzzles me about the race to the south pole is that why they do this stupid race an way when they know someone is going to get killed any way? i mean like it is very stupid of them to do that very dangerous and risky race in the south pole. what also puzzles me is that they do it in the south pole? they could at least do it in egypt or something. that race is very, very, very weird it is almost more weird then the movie harry potter

I like the book Twisting up a storm because it is a information book about storms and tornado.It's has a lot of good information about storm and twisters like how powerful the tornado and how is a tornado created that's why I like this book.

I  liked the part when meteorologists make or use various tools to track tornadoes, they would able to learn more  about tornadoes and also help people avoid or survive them.

i also like how they use weather balloons that are like hot air balloons. They use it to check the weather and see if it is stormy clouds are coming.

l didn't like the part when they could also use a normal balloon and check were the wind is heading from, they could also see and look  and see if the wind is blowing on your hair and depend on how fast it is going.

I totally like  how they use symbols of anger, ect., instead of rude words. I also definitely like the weird symbols they used for another language. Anyway, what was funny in the book, was that after all that talking in another language and Max needing to use a 'Linguistic Translator to know what he was saying, he appeared to know English!! Then I think Nash said, '' Really, you knew English all this time!!'Then the alien said ''Yes I knew''. But I don't really know why he didn't talk/speak English in the first place.

I am so angry that Millie betrayed Nash!!! Gee what a sister I mean, who just betrays a true sister when they have been so good to you!!! Now I don't have a sister but i do have a brother and no matter how annoying and frustrating he gets I know he has always got my back. But APPARENTLY, in this book that doesn't exist. AND FOR YOU MILLIE, IF YOUR READING THIS (witch is highly unlikely) I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT YOU SUCK AT BEING A SISTER!!!!!!

ok so today i am wondering about what the title means the part i don't get is the Outlaws.
I think it means something to do with the law. Maybe it means someone or something disobeying the law. Or some part of the law. If anyone  knows please tell me in the comments.please!!!!!!!!!

So far that I have been reading this book ,the most saddest thing is that when you see something  and you go to tell somebody that is close to you and they don't believe you , you kind of doubt yourself and you kind of think your a dumbo.The happiest thing in the book is that Isabella's crew got united with       AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't like the book because it always talks about the sea , water and ghosts and that is  boring to me but not to the others.The saddest part of the book is when Toby found out that the ship Isabella is not real.

I like the part when Jessica gets a job and the amazing part is that on the first day of her work carrear she earns $10,000. Another thing I like in the story is when Jessica goes to this dumping place and she finds a really old chair. With the old chair she finds a ripped and cruimbled cushion and when she picked it up money fell out. She was so happy because she got more money and it is a good oppunity to get money out out of the dump. Another thing is that it is a life time thing. It is a very intrestresting story.

I really liked the part when Captan Laperouse wanted to be friends with the Spaniards and threw them a big banquet/ party that all up-town and rich Spanish people could attend to. I thought that this was very nice and that the French and Spanish should have then become good friends with each other after they had that huge chance to socialise with each other. This was the first thing that I liked about this part of " On Board The Boussole".

Likes: Number 2:

I enjoyed it when Julienne kept her promise to her journal that she would wait one-hundred more days before she wrote in her journal again and then one-hundred days after she made the promise she wroe in her journal again. I liked this because it shows that Julienne is not a person who can break a promise easily, she is someone you can trust in, she stays on task very well and if she decides she is going to do something she sticks to it. This is what I like to do and it shows what a good person Julienne is.

Dislikes: Number 1:

I disliked it when Captain Laperouse said that all his sailors could not have any food just because the rich Spaniards didn't want them to have any food. I disliked this part because Captain Laperouse and all the Spaniards who attended the banquet were all very selfish and I do not like people who are selfish like yhat. This was something i definitely didn't like.

In the book we are reading [On Board The Boussole ] there is a character called Alain the qualities of Alain are that he is a true sailor ,he is a friend , and he is a true life saver.He saves Julienne from dying in a barrel ,slipping of the yardman ,he helped her to try to over come her fears ,he taught her how to swim .Alain so far in the story is a true life saver and a friend to Julienne .Julienne trusts Alain to keep her secret hidden.


DISLIKES:

In this story the parts that i don't like about the Boussole and Alain are that the ship only is for boys .It is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo unfair.This is an unfair rule .Why can't girls go on the ship? Its unfair i mean girls can be sailors to.I dislike king louise he is a mean bunch of silly royal orders .

In this book it shows a girl finding a cane chair in the junk. Not knowing she saw an old,crumpled cushion on the chair. Since the cushion was there she tried to cut it off, accidentally cut some fabric off the chair then money came out. Well she is really lucky that  it happened because that's like a once in a life opportunity for that to happen. The sad thing is the dad doesn't want the girl to have the money because it belongs to someone else.When she goes to school she absolutely hates it because it makes her feel embarrass because its a new year.
