The authors purpose for writting this text because it talks about ships
and how they are dangerous,and it is telling us a story.The target audience
is 8 and up isabella is the ghost toby is the boy who studys on ships and last
but not least skip he is the kids granfather. I think this because toby is the boy who
studys on ships because it says in the book I think skips is the granfather  because it
said that i better tell grandad and their is only one grandad in the story and isabella is
the ghost because it said isabella died because she was a ghost .I think the target
audience is 10 and up because the kids that are in the story are really big it looks like
they are 10 and up and it should be 10 and up because it talks about scary things.
