if you have recently read this book the following groups. give me a spoiler on what the book is like when your getting into the far chapters like chapter 6 and all that so ya give us a little spoiler alert. if your about to read this book it is boring at the start but at chapter 3 it starts to get instresting so enjoy that book

I dislike that Katrina and Jessica talk about the money when she was told not to tell people about the money.

Why does jessica find a a old dusty chair then she finds 50 dollars. I was so confused because she went from a rusty and dusty old chair to 50 bucks :) :p

what i like about the book is that jessica is lucky that she finds to things in one day, the first one is a a rusty and dusty old chair which is not very lucky and she found 50 bucks which is very lucky.

i dont like the way jessicas dad is always on to her to see if shes doing the right thing and i think thats doing the wrong thing.

I don't like that even though Nash and Millie went into Saratoga Mantu's ship and then they didn't even care when they were in his SPACESHIP! By the looks of it he put a lot of effort into the spaceship and then Nash and Millie just came in it and accidentally stole it. I don't like it because it isn't nice to steal things and especially something that he is going to use to get to another planet.

 I don't know why Saratoga Mantu didn't notice Millie climbing up his ship and after they pressed the launch button and nearly in space because a spaceship is REALLY loud,yet he only notices it when the announcer says it on the TV.

OUTER SPACE OUTLAWS

I have recently just started to read a book called 'Outer Space Outlaws'. I think that the older brother Nash isn't very nice because he called his sister millie a bozo . I read a bit further and I learnt that millie isn't very nice either because she called her brother a scaredy cat. Theres also  a space alien sort of thing who's name is Saratoga Matu that came to earth for a surprise visit before going to KALGURI . 

I dont really understand the story because its a comic and theres also to much going on but I think that if I read this story a bit more I will understand it a bit more !!!

The book we are reading this week is the ketchup deal. It is authored by Janice Marriott and illustrated by Daron Parton. This book has interesting cover it has people that have spears and people With face paintings. They have 1 animal that i now of witch has to horns and a fury body and head it is really interesting. My opinion= I LOVE THIS BOOK. If you don't like it OMG why not like seriously it is the best book EVER!!!!!

We are reading the Ketchup Deal,the title is very interesting and the front cover looks weird,it looks like the people are going to hunt people and steal there food and the title is interesting cause the title is called the Ketchup deal and i have a feeling in the book they are going to create Ketchup but they don't have a name for it.

I liked the part when Scott's team goes for skiing lessons and when members say: "Skiing is not something that you can just.......DO!". I like that part because it isn't something that you can just......DO. Although it is pretty easy for me, people have to learn all the steps and skills, while having enough food for the journey, feeding the ponies and not getting worn out by the blizzards and storms, in Scott's case - that is. When tourists go on holidays in the snow, they can stay inside when they are tired and have a cup of tea or a cup of coffee. But not with Scott. He is still determined to win and beat the others, even if he is sick, well hungry and thirsty. This is all true story and i can't believe how brave these people are, considering this journey started back in Sunday, 2 November, 1902 on a cold and windy day, when some comfortable things were not invented yet, and the pole was barely touched, obviously...

I wonder why the author  made  Amuendsen to win the race  was Amuendsen his favourite charecter. i wonder if the author was present during these events  because the  book states that this story is true . i wonder what feelings the author had while he wrote his book  and why did the author chosse to write about this scene in his life . i wonder when the autor started writting the book and when he finished. i wonder if the author was one of the people in the expodition . i wonder  how the author  dicided the amount of days it took to get to the south pole

I a confused about how Scott is so smart i mean not many people that are smart go on races to the pole so he must be just a little bite smart. But i like smart people they give good advice.

Now  i  no  who  got  to  the  south  pole  first  it  was  Amundsen. Amundsen  was  described  as  a  professional,  as  a  man  who  sneaked  in  and  sprinted  for  pole.I  wonder  why  Amundsen  got  a  achievement  but  no  discussion about why    he  had got   there  first.

I am still not sure about who comes 2 3 and 4 .As a guess i think it will be Scott then William , then Dr.Edward willson . I wonder what the great prize is ? I dislike it doesn't tell you in the first chapter because if it did, then you would have something that makes you think about if it's good or great or even better.                          

I think it's quite cool that a volcano is covered in snow which hasn't even melted any ice yet! I think the whole world being discovered is quite cool, ( did I already mention that? ) though I don't like the fact that their risking their own lives, just to see a part of the world.

I wonder why williams ALWAYS whines? I mean really, not like its gonna get you any where! He is such a baby and i recon he carry's on more than my cousin Kiera who is 5, my cousin Ashling who is 3 or my cousin Teegan who is 0!!!! I mean 0!! Now THAT is bad! How silly of him. What a bad influence on younger kids such as me. I really hope that it is not based on a true story because if it is, BOY, someone would be embarrassed. I wish it could tell us if it really was based on a true story because its always good to know important information.Thats why its hard to writs a book. If a person doesn't like it then there can be a lot of criticism coming form those annoyed people.

I am puzzled why the author gave someone the name "Amundsen" because it is very annoying to pronounce and it is a very odd name.

so far in the book  toby saw a boat and the light house . then one day he saw a gost in the boat. But the gost were nice the name of the gost was isabella and there were two more gost in the book but they have not  told there name. toby was not afaird of the isabella.

The part I hate about this book is that when the dad keeps pushing  Tony to play Footy but he doesn 't   like to play it .Why can't Tony tell his  dad how he feels about Footy, his dad will understand if he doesn't tell his dad how he feels  how will his dad know how he feels and what he doesn't want to do . Girls and Boys can do the  same there's no difference.Lots of people think girls can't the same and that's really bad thing to say or do .

My favourite character is Ceejay she is so sporty and strong she sounds amazing . 

Tony is not as sporty as Ceejay but he still likes AFL but he likes art more than anything.

In the book Tony said Ceejay can play AFL forever happily i think thats amazing and thats why she is so sporty.

.I think Tony's dad is a bite mean to Ceejay because he doesn't let her play not even give her a chance but she is actualy really good

But Tony's got another talent art so he does anything for art.

I like how Julienne is like a spy/ secret agent because she was a secret stowaway and she is hiding her identity about being a girl from all the sailors because if they find out she is a girl she will be punished in a extremely bad way.

Dislikes:

I dislike the fact that females are not allowed to become a sailor because they think that girls are not worthy of the job, are to weak e.t.c.

I do not like Petit Peirie because he is being extremely nasty to Julienne and threatening her and saying that when they return back to France she will be punished. I personally think that this boy is just jealous because Julienne is getting all the attention from the sailors, the captain and the Priest from the Astrolabe.

I wonder why Julienne's parents just left her when she was so young?

I like the part when sophia goes to the beach and rest and then she gets a idea that if she goes into the cave it will be a better idea but then she gets a thought  that if she hides there her friend theo will find her. Another reason why I like the book is that when I read the book for me it sounds like that Sophia is a kind And a enthusiasm person and she is bright as a light house that means she is a loving and  Respectful.

I don't like yay a because he is a bit aboring and when ever he talks it doesn't have any meaning to it. Another reason why I don't like yay a is that when ever someone accidentally hits him he starts to be rude  and he doesn't be thre friend anymore.

I am really liking how Julienne Fulbert is keeping up to date with her frightening,scary and interesting voyage to Australia.

I also like how Alain was nice to Julienne on board because most of the crew on the ship hated Julienne and wanted to throw her overboard but Alain was very kind and sweet to her even though she snuck on the ship her stood by her and fed her and clothed her.

Dislikes:

I very dislike how Captain Laperouse did not like Julienne and i also dislike how the Captain purposely  drove the ship right into the storm.

Thats just like in real life when i heard the name Pierre.I'm sure i've  heard that name in my family because my dad is  friends someone with that name.

The good thing about this book is that it has a girl in it because THE DAIRY MILKS group is a girls only group because there are no boys in the group and were all friends.Julienne is the ONLY girl in the book.She disguised as a boy so that she could go ON BOARD THE BOUSSOLE.How smart is that even though I wouldn't do it.I also like the names in the book which are:

In one part of the story that I like was when Alain saved Julienne from the barrel

because if he did not save her she would be trapped in the barrel FOREVER and could 

possibly DIE!!

The dad doesn't let the ceejay play AFL but I have read thought and ceejay is really good better than her brother tony play how isn't that good.I think the dad isn't watching his child and how good she is.So tony and ceejay thought of a plan that ceejay can play and tony can do his art competition .So on Saturday ceejay got the AFL uniform  and tony got out his art things and they went to there things so tony went to the train staction and ceejay went to the AFL game.

I find it interesting how Alain saved Juliennes life by rescuing her out of the barrel and making friends with her even though she was a girl and it was a boys ship only,because if he he had left her in a barrel she would die in distress.
Alain is a brave boy because he taught Julienne how to swim.

Wasn't it great when Julienne ate fruit for the first time and she love it because it was so juicy.

I was so glad when Julienne was rescued by Alain from the barrel, if she didn't get rescued she would've died of being frozen to the bone and hunger.

Isn't it annoying that the author doesn't tell you how Julienne lost her parents!

I didn't like the character the boy-beast because he is such a huge bully.

How on earth can Julienne like curds and whey, its disgusting (yes, I've made it before in a science experiment.)

I find it disgusting that Julienne is so close to the floor boards that she can smell rat droppings and the stench of rotten fish yuck!!!

Isn't it annoying when people or a gang follow you around and you don't notice because its sort of like when the Bat-packs people follow Campbell around after he fell into were they were. So you don't know what they might do to you, so this part relates when he Bat-packs people followed Campbell and they kidnapped him.

I don't know why on the chapter 8 page Stew stares at the freezer and that a bar started to turn orange. The puzzle i think is why Stew asked so much questions about it, can someone help me out with this.

I think that this story is really weird . it has a gang called the back pack and a boy who got kiddnapped whos name is campbell . i like the part where fang [ whos one of the members of the bat pack ] comes back and feeds campbell after the bat pack leaves him in a cave with stinky candle right next to him.i like that part because she leaves her pack to help some one else.

I like the part when campbell went to the market because when he went with the blue people they showed campbell lots of their weapons like knifes and spears and they are really sharp. Isn't it annoying how the story is kind of the same for each chapter like how campbell went to the market and got kidnapped by the blue people and then campbell went back to the market then went back to the blue peoples tribe in the bush near the market.

In this book ,Tony's Dad wants him to be a FOOTY SUPERSTAR but Tony doesn't want to be a footy player like his Dad because he feels like his dad broke his leg because of that .His sis is really great at it but his dad thinks she doesn't  know how to play it just because she's a girl.

I am curious how all the three men survived through the hard snow? I mean, wouldn't it be cold? I wonder if any of the men got frostbite during the trip and died? Now THAT would be freaky! But, It properly will happen in the book, because its really really really cold!!!!!

I wonder how they survive in the pole . It is very cold and page 58 states that the weather degrees fall beneath 0 , it was so cold that  11 dogs died from the cold. Even if Dr Edward Willson  had sringes for frost bites he would of eventualy ran out of them so that would of not been the most helpful thing but for the first few days. I wonder if they caught that disease when you stand in the cold your fingers and maybe even your nose would fall of it is like  leapracy

I'm kind of worried about Mr. Racer, because I don't know if he's going to make it to the South Pole. As I said in my other blog there are many dangers there of dying!! I dislike how Shackleton is against Scott because they are competing and going all over the place. Shackleton has his own party now, a boat, ponies and a motor car. I also dislike the fact that they were once together in the same party and now against each other because they should still be friends and should still be racing to the pole together. This book is very competitive.

 am puzzled with how Guru is still with the blue people and why isn't Guru's mum not worried about,that Guru is not home.

Isn't it annoying how some parts are the same as other parts so the book gets boring but what puzzles me is that how did the people in the bush find their way up to the market because they were stuck in a bush and I wonder how they made the masks when they had nothing.

I dont know how in one of the parts were he doesen't make a jump and then he just goes straight down.
I remember when i nearly made a skateboard ramp and i fell but i have never seen someone jus go straight down like they have explained. Tom me and my group it just doese'nt make sense to us.
That is the bit is when he goes up the ramp and then he gets captured by the people.

I wonder why the men didn't just bring more food and water for the dogs and themselves by bringing more sleighs because then the dogs would not starve to death or get killed for other dogs. I also wonder why no one has set foot there and what the big deal is of racing to the south pole, because they would be much more relaxed going together, setting their flags on the same spot. I really don't get the idea racing!

Why would you want to go to the South Pole just because of fame!! If you want to go to the South Pole, you should go for knowledge, because that's why I'd go to the South Pole. Plus you could die of starvation and they don't have tree's or that stuff there, so you'd need lot's of food (vegetables) and lot's of bullets and a gun for killing animals. Plus if your unlucky, you won't be able to aim at the bears etc. In my opinion you'll have to be a professional survivor to live!!

I am curious why Shacklon didn't put his tent up properly. If i put up a tent I would make sure that all the pegs were pinned in properly. I think that it will claps on him in his sleep and he will be grumpy! thats why he will be ANGRY!!!

I like how the book puts scientific research and how interesting the book is like how they were fighting for the north pole and the volcano that spits out fire and snow.Plus it was funny how they wanted the Southpole and lots of guns and bullets to hunts for food etc bears and I wonder why the the Sutherland named someone Shackleton that is why I am puzzled  why theydid that but it is a good story to read and it's interesting

I like how the book implements scientific research and information with fictional characters because it is interesting and gives you information at the same time because not many books can do this. I dislike the  lack of pictures because it makes it harder to recognise what they are going to do and you will probably have to actually do it to find out.
